Job Overview
The IT Auditor II will play a pivotal role on behalf of our client in maintaining the integrity, security, and compliance of the organization's IT systems and processes. This position is integral to planning, executing, and managing IT SOX control testing, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and providing detailed insights through audits. Working closely with the IT team and senior leadership, the IT Auditor II ensures alignment with compliance requirements and helps drive continuous improvement in risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute annual IT SOX management control testing and PwC "assist" substantive audit testing activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review and manage audit control testing and follow-up activities.
  • Participate in audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting, as outlined in the CAAS audit plan.
  • Document processes, perform risk/control analysis, and provide conclusions on the effectiveness of management controls.
  • Prepare audit workpapers and deliverables that highlight risks, observations, and corrective action plans.
  • Partner with the IT team to assess and support cybersecurity risk management initiatives.
  • Conduct follow-ups on audit observations to evaluate corrective actions' timeliness and effectiveness.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the CAAS audit plan, such as timekeeping, maintaining learning requirements, and participating in interviews for CAAS positions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business partners and support company-specific initiatives.
Requirements Include

Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance.
Experience
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT audits or related roles.
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Certifications
  • Professional certification (CISA, CISSP, or CISM) required within 18 months of hire.
Knowledge
  • Familiarity with IT system risks, cybersecurity frameworks, and financial reporting/SOX control environments.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.

Additional Information
  • Work Environment: Hybrid schedule, combining office presence with remote work flexibility.

  • Reporting Structure: Reports directly to CAAS leadership, with collaboration across IT and business teams.
