Nurse - Evening Shift

Part-Time or Full-Time

Mount Alverna Village is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. As a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), we offer a variety of senior lifestyle options, including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/long-term care. Additionally, our onsite rehabilitation clinic provides inpatient and outpatient therapies, enhancing the quality of life for our residents and the local community. Position Summary

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential direct nursing care to our residents, while also serving as a key point of consultation for health-related concerns within the community.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents with compassion and professionalism.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high standard of quality care.
  • Manage the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
  • Keep physicians and other healthcare professionals informed about any changes in resident conditions.
  • Respond quickly to all emergency situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including updates.

Position Requirements

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in the state of practice

Experience: 1+ years of nursing experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy when working with residents.
