National Sales Executive

Our client has been a trusted name in the foodservice equipment and supplies sector since the early 1980s. Known for their innovative vacuum packaging solutions, they have built a strong reputation by supporting a wide range of restaurants and commercial kitchens. Their diverse product offerings include state-of-the-art vacuum packaging systems, premium-grade commercial cutlery, and knife safety storage solutions. The company takes a collaborative sales approach, working closely with distributors and engaging directly with end-users to deliver custom solutions that meet operational demands.
THE JOB
The National Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by managing existing relationships while developing new business opportunities. This pivotal role focuses on expanding the company's presence across the foodservice and hospitality markets. The position requires frequent travel (approximately 50%) to major U.S. regions with a high density of foodservice companies. Key responsibilities include engaging with executive chefs, corporate operations leaders, and distributor representatives to showcase products, conduct hands-on demonstrations, and support product integration into their operations.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales experience in the foodservice industry, with a focus on national accounts.
- Strong knowledge of vacuum packaging, culinary equipment, or food preparation processes.
- Experience working with restaurant chains, commercial kitchens, or similar end-users, as well as distributor purchasing teams.
- Adaptable and resourceful problem-solver
- Must live in/near Kansas City
- $80-90K base salary + uncapped quarterly bonuses
