Assembly Inspector

Location: Huntsville, AL

Salary: $37.95/hr

Industry: Aerospace/Manufacturing

Employment Type: 6 month assignment

Shift: D Shift 5PM to 5:30AM Friday to Sunday

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of inspection and/or assembly experience
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a huge plus.
  • Experience with Precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
  • Familiar with ESD requirements
  • Must have attention to detail skills.
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights.
  • Experience with final photo documentation of hardware.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed inspection of Engine structural, electrical and mechanical assemblies and systems using CAD models and Blueprints
  • Verify Assemblies for conformance against engineering requirements
  • Document nonconformance's in accordance with internal procedures and over communicate to resolve quality issues
  • Perform damage characterizations, close out, first article, in-process & final inspections and document per AS9102
  • Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission
