Our Field employees typically leave to travel on Monday morning and arrive back home Thursday evening.
SUMMARY
Performs a variety of non-repetitive or unique precision operations to install and repair company products in the field. Interfaces with customers to handle service inquiries and problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Examines customers' problems off-site and implements appropriate corrective action to resolve and repair warranty and customer service issues.
Determines cause of failure through investigation, photographs, documents, and compiles reports on field service repairs.
Conducts product inspection after work is complete to identify other potential product failures.
Ensures customer satisfaction with work performed.
Educates customers on the proper use and maintenance of Company products.
Maintains logs, records and files detailing repair work.
Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent field service paperwork.
Tracks, repairs, and submits travel expenses to department manager for approval.
Inspects and maintains company tools and equipment issued for field service repairs.
Responsible for safe operations and vehicle cleanliness.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as blue prints, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
Valid Driver's License and passport. The ability to pass a criminal background check.
