Job Description
Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12 hours, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience

License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)

Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)

Must-Have:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Job Description:

- Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' health conditions, administering medication and treatment as necessary.
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology to provide optimal care in critical situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families, offering support and education on healthcare matters.
- Uphold all safety, health, and operational standards within the healthcare setting.
- Engage in continual professional development to stay updated on the latest nursing practices and protocols.
- Assist in orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
