Job Title: General Production Worker PAY: $17/HR Job Description Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, mailing, processing return items, cleaning equipment, warehouse housekeeping, and transferring supplies. The employee must be able to take ownership of jobs and complete them without continual instruction. Maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality is essential. Compliance with laws, regulations, and policies is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance. The role requires standing for long periods, being mechanically inclined, computer literate, and able to switch between different jobs daily. Responsibilities Pack products weighing 5-10 lbs into boxes repetitively for the entire shift Switch work areas daily depending on the orders due to ship out Lift at least 50 pounds Stand for long periods of time Bend, reach, lift, and perform other physical tasks throughout the day Meet expected metrics of packaging about 300 packages per shift Essential Skills Packing Production Warehouse packing Order picking Material handling Labeling Use of RF scanner and RF scan gun Pallet jack operation Forklift operation Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift Mechanically inclined Computer literate Why Work Here? Work Environment Warehouse environment that is clean with no extreme temperatures. Start time is 6:50 am - 4 pm. Candidates can start at 6:30 am or 7 am in the new facility, and if they start earlier, they can leave at 3:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, North Carolina.
