After 12 hrs. in a shift in CA, traveler will be paid their overtime rate or double-time, whichever is the greater of the two.

BLS, ACLS, CA FLUORO, RCIS - cannot accept RCIS in lieu of ARRT
Need ARRT to get Fluoro - required for Cath Lab Tech.

Invasive Cardio Technologist
7a-3:30p M-F includes after hour call and weekend call, hours may also vary based on patient census and procedures
Cannot offer 10s or 12s. Unit is open M-F, 7:30a - 4p daily.

EXPERIENCE: EP Experience is a bonus
• Must have at least 1-2 years of recent Cath lab experience.
• Will also be required to be on-call on a rotating basis.
• Position requires critical thinking, sharp assessment skills, quick decision-making ability, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

EDUCATION:
Must pass the Arrhythmia Interpretation/Telemetry test at 85% prior to completion of orientation and independent assignment of telemetry/monitored patients (tested annually thereafter).

LICENSE/CERTS:
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.
• RCIS certification required
• American Heart Association Provider ACLS certifications must be obtained prior to completion of orientation and independent assignment.

# suites/labs: 2 Cath lab suites, 1 EP lab, currently under construction
# cases per day on average: 4-5 EP and 6-7 Cath cases per day. will get new vascular surgeon and interventional cardiologist soon, and volume will increase.
Required Certifications BLS, ACLS, CA fluoro license and rad tech license (ARRT) - RCIS not be accepted in place of ARRT.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: PCI, pacemaker, STEMI, diagnostic, TAVR/Watchmans: would eventually like candidates who have experience with this

Job Duties:
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 2 years' experience in specialty or more, structural experience preferred not required

EMR/Equipment:
Preferred: Epic for nurses, techs use epic, McKesson, Philips, siemens
• Cardiologist hours/on call: on call
• Manager/Charge Nurse: yes
• Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-3:30p M-F includes after hour call and weekend call, hours may also vary based on patient census and procedures.
• Cannot offer 10s or 12s. Unit is open M-F, 7:30a - 4p daily.
• Call during the week is 1530-0700 the next day; expect to take approx 10-12 days of call per month. An RN, rad tech, and Cath tech are on-call for each team
• Weekend/Call Requirement: 24/7 call for weekends - rotating every 3rd, call starts at 1530 on Friday until 0700 the next day, then a 0700-0700 shift
• Holiday/Call Requirement: should be willing to work holidays- call
• What is call response time?: 30 minutes
• Floating Requirements: NA
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs provided
• Unit/Department specific orientation: 2-3 shifts depending on experience for orientation
