We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream.
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for executing our product vision and leading the ongoing development of our salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate has a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with their manager, functional leaders, organizational units, vendors, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy technology supporting our core business processes. The Salesforce Administrator oversees and assists in the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Engagement (Chat/SMS/Omni Channel), Maps, CRM A
- Upgrade and configure Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
- Experience working in Visualforce, Lightning Components, APEX coding, Triggers, Validation Rules and Flows.
- Complete platform customizations (fields, page layouts, custom objects etc.)
- Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels.
- Create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
- Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
- Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Information Systems, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems). In lieu of a degree, six (6) years' experience will be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator and maintenance
- com Advanced Administrator certification, preferred.
- Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions.
- At least 2 years' experience with Apex development and a desire to deepen your technical skillset.
- Experience providing Salesforce training and end-user support.
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integrations with other systems.
- Critical thinking aptitude in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions.
- Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool - strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio
