Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Helper to join our team at our Casper, WY location. The Shop Helper will support the shop operations by assisting with a variety of tasks, including maintenance, cleaning, and assisting technicians and machinists. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist shop technicians and machinists with various tasks, including setup and cleanup of workstations. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials. • Transport materials, tools, and equipment within the shop as required. • Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision. • Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas. • Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment, such as checking oil levels, replacing worn parts, and reporting any malfunctions. • Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and materials. • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor or management team. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in a shop or industrial environment is a plus, but not required. • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor. • Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
