Additionally, responsible for preliminary, routine, and in-process inspections of aircraft and/or components to determine serviceability and airworthiness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accomplish incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer's manuals. Ensure documentation of maintenance performed is as required by the FAR, the Repair Station Manual, and the Customer's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program. Accomplish final buy-back of maintenance performed. Accomplish in-progress inspections, including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant License required. Three years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Manager's discretion. NDI and previous QC experience are highly desirable. Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms, talk or hear, and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally, with help, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Compensation The base salary for this position is $30.00 -- $44.50 (expressed as annualized hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for a quarterly corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider the internal equity of our current team members to be a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base salary range for the role.
