Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all training requirements, including Zaxby's General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class, as well as Food Safety and Manager Certifications.
  • Ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional experiences to guests.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers.
  • Provide comprehensive training for team members, alongside continuous mentoring, coaching, and performance accountability.
  • Create effective work schedules to drive sales and manage labor costs.
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments while communicating expectations clearly and adjusting as necessary.
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Foster a positive culture and uphold team morale by leading by example.
  • Manage profitability through driving sales, controlling costs, and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Grow sales by building community relationships and providing outstanding products and services.
  • Control costs and losses while adhering to all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with those for managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and Zaxby's guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Open availability and ability to work at least 5 days and 48 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report.
  • Possess leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management experience required; restaurant management experience preferred.

Capability Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing, including ladder use.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Regular use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
  • Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the working environment.
  • Work in an environment with temperature variations and food allergens.
  • Safely operate restaurant equipment including knives and fryers.
