The Cycle Counter accurately counts inventory in storage locations daily using both RF Scanners and paper counting methods. Reports inventory discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner to the Inventory Control manager, Supervisor, and Lead. Moves inventory to predetermined locations as directed by the Inventory Control Leads. Repairs or otherwise dispositions damaged goods as directed. Assists in investigating root-cause of inventory discrepancies.

Job Duties

  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity, responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle count/ reconciliations.

  • Research and reconciliations of discrepancies.

  • Inform Inventory Control Manager of any adjustments to inventory levels.

  • Review areas for all inventory and ensure materials are in proper locations.

  • Conduct cycle counts and provide accurate count information.

  • Conduct slotting functions and movement of inventory between locations.

  • Disposition of product/box damage

  • Assist Internal Customers-Inbound/Outbound with SKU location verification.

  • Perform location audits.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizations skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize a busy workload.

  • Working knowledge of computers and computerized equipment.

  • Ability to follow and comply with all building safety rules and policies.

  • Ability to read shipping orders and packing list information provided by vendor.

  • Must be self-motivated and team oriented.

  • Ability to wrap product and label product quickly.

  • Able to keep work area clean and organized.

  • Adaptable to work in changing workloads.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical ability to lift, move and/or carry minimum of 50 lbs.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Minimum education H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous cycle counting/inventory control experience.

  • Requires warehouse and materials handling equipment experience.

  • Demonstrates good teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrates ability to lead, train and motivate a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal (English) communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Some familiarity with inventory management and personal computers is helpful.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in PKMS and SAP as it related to job responsibilities. Experience with all MS Office products and ability to use Excel.

  • Ability to operate MHE equipment: cherry-picker, clamp truck, reach truck and electric pallet jack (Required)

The California base pay range for this position is from $39,520 to $40,560. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
