Amazon's Advertising Technology team builds the technology infrastructure and ad-serving systems to manage billions of advertising queries every day. The result is better quality advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers. Our infrastructure supports millions of Internet users and handles billions of queries per day, all delivered in milliseconds. Our data platform processes massive data sets to develop business intelligence and analytics that are critical for the efficiency and profitability of our advertising business.

We are looking for a seasoned product manager for our ad-identity team.

This team forms the backbone of our programmatic advertising business and supports multiple teams in the advertising ecosystem. In this role, you will draw upon your understanding of digital advertising, technical product and business expertise to define and rapidly execute on cross-functional products, in partnership with business and program leaders across Amazon Advertising. You will bring great customer focus, the ability to rapidly prioritize and get things done, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Your responsibilities will include: - Product Insights and Strategy - Identify new business opportunities and work customer backwards to define new products and initiatives that will work at scale.

  • Own key metrics and drive continuous improvement by working closing with engineering and other stakeholders

  • Stakeholder management – interface with and influence your stakeholders, balancing business needs vs. technical constraints and driving clarity in ambiguous situations.

  • Interface with Industry - Interact with ad-tech companies and industry bodies to partner and drive key business objectives.

  • Industry trends - stay on top of trends in the advertising identity industry and partner with key stakeholders to define and deliver programs to keep Amazon in the forefront of the online ads industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
