POSITION: SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (SLP)
LOCATION: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital
SHIFTS: Full-Time and PRN/Pool Available
Here is your opportunity to leverage your knowledge, skills, ambition, and experience daily. Inspire our patients to progress as you:
- Deliver speech-language treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
- Delegate tasks and supervise fellows, technicians, and assistants.
- Maintain open communication with hospital departments to assure that needs of patients, staff, and the hospital are met.
Credentials:
- Current state licensure or certification by the start date is required.
- CPR certification preferred unless mandated by hospital policy.
- Successful completion of an accredited master's degree program or an accredited bachelor's degree program along with relevant field experience is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in speech-language pathology evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment is required.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and caregivers are essential.
