Registered Dietitian

York Hospital in York, Maine is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join us at our main campus location. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, 4 - 10 hour days from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and rotating weekends. No call.
The inpatient RD serves a vital role in the health care team by:
• assessing patient's nutrition status, including use of NFPE to identify malnutrition.
• developing and evaluating a nutrition plan; collaborating with all health care team members.
• providing patient and family education, including special diet and food/drug education.
• participating in team patient care meetings.
• performing administrative functions to ensure efficient and accurate workflow.
• supervising accuracy of work performed by dietitian assistants.
York Hospital has 5 beds in the ICU unit as well as 35 beds on Medical-Surgical Unit that the RD oversees.
We require a Registered Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association, and licensed
with the State of Maine.
