Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years related experience in precast concrete required
• Supervisory Experience: 3 to 5 years required
• Exemplary Attendance and Punctuality is required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, year-round, is required

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong Communication skills are a must
• Proficiency in reading tape measure and production drawings
• Follows directions from Plant Manager and is not afraid to ask questions
• Shows a strong and capable level of knowledge, and strong sense of leadership
• Participates in production and planning meetings as necessary
• Can delegate effectively
• Holds crew accountable
• Lead the crew to produce high quality work that meets company standards
• Understands precast equipment operation and maintenance
  • Forklifts, Cranes, prestressing equipment, Power Trowels, etc.
• Knows how to use hand and power tools properly and in a safe manner
• Understands and performs all precast wall panel set up processes, pouring and finishing processes, and stripping processes
• Understands and effectively oversees housekeeping and clean up of all tools, equipment, and work area
• Leads by example and holds crew accountable in meeting all safety policy requirements
  • Applies safety training to everyday job duties; trains crew and new employees with Toolbox Talks, Standard Operating Procedures, and ongoing safety training
  • Always wears PPE - no exceptions (Hard hat, safety glasses, steel toed boots, High Visibility clothing, face shield when cutting or grinding, gloves as needed)
