Job Title: Field Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer with extensive experience in Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing work plans, shop drawings, and test plans, as well as supervising field work. This role requires strong project management and supervisory skills, and the ability to handle large projects effectively. Responsibilities Prepare work plans for execution, including outage plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements, and coordinating with other construction work. Prepare shop drawings and submittals, including equipment installation and wiring diagrams, in compliance with technical requirements. Develop and submit test plans based on technical requirements. Supervise field work, which may require working night shifts. Coordinate activities to prevent project delays and ensure smooth execution. Manage crew schedules and ensure timely payment of invoices. Essential Skills Experience in Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). Strong experience in project management and project engineering, specifically within ITS. Ability to handle large projects with control over many moving parts. 5-10 years of relevant experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with traffic signals. Proficiency in planning and executing large-scale projects. Strong supervisory skills. Work Environment This role involves working in the field for the most part, as well as within an office space. The work environment is dynamic and may require night shifts depending on project demands. Additional Information 2-3 year contract project supporting the HRBT Expansion project.
