To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
- Evaluates production set-ups to ensure that quality requirements are met.
- Assists and trains production floor personnel in the use of statistical techniques.
- Assists and trains production floor personnel in the use of gauges and fixtures.
- Evaluates floor associate's documentation for compliance and reports findings.
- Conducts audits of corrective actions.
- Conducts LPA audits as assigned.
- Conducts gauge and fixture studies as required.
- Provides support in solving production floor issues.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Ability to perform basic weld destructs and inspections.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
- Basic computer skills (data entry)
- Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
Required experience:
- Customer specific requirements are defined by individual part / process requirements and are conveyed through Control Plans, Inspection Sheets, and individual Work Instructions.
• Microsoft Office at a beginning level
• Effective email and electronic communication skills are required.
• Ability to work with the following tools or machinery.
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Scales
• Etc.
