Job Title: Systems Analyst (GLAPS Operations)

C/CTH/Perm + Duration: 6 month contract

This will most likely be a 6 month contract with a potential to extend another 6 months.

STRONG preference for candidates that will relocate within first 1-2 months (Allegan MI), but for a BULLSEYE I will send 1 remote candidate if we can find 2 that will relo.

is looking for an Application Systems Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role will provide advanced support, configuration, and administrative support of Operations/Manufacturing/ Shipper Labeling based applications for (i.e.; Labeling/ Shipper labeling applications (Loftware and Zebra), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems); Building Access Systems). This role will require someone who has worked in a Global Manufacturing environment and has supported Operations/ Manufacturing/ Shipper Labeling based applications. The role will have administrative duties for the applications, will interact with outside vendors of the applications, and will perform configuration and user support.

Submittal Requirements
3-5 Must Haves (need to be highlighted in sizzle & present on resume)
  • Experience working for a Global Manufacturing company
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing/ Operations/ Labeling Applications (Ideally as many of Loftware and/or Zebra labeling; MES systems; Building Access Systems)
  • bility to be on site 2 days per week if required
  • Experience administrating and supporting applications
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to interact with users, vendors, and leadership
  • ny experience with SQL Stored Procedures is a big plus


Responsibilities to include:
  • dministering multiple Operations applications, including primary troubleshooting, maintenance, and ownership for overall system, including network, server, and database layers.
  • Work with other IT groups to plan and support systems.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, trend analysis, application tuning, and life cycle maintenance for a variety of systems.
  • uthoring and executing documentation such as system requirements, system specifications, change controls, and test protocols.
  • Manage and collaborate with external software vendors.
  • Provide support and direction to other Systems Analysts.
  • Plan and implement a wide variety of complex systems within the global applications portfolio.
  • Participate in development and support of global technology architecture.
Requirements:
  • System administration/support experience with batch manufacturing and packaging operations application systems including shop floor and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to troubleshoot computer systems, including network, server, and database layers is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in configuration, change control, verification and validation processes, and risk management techniques and methodologies are essential.

  • Must be competent in advising colleagues on configuration settings that will ensure stability and robustness of the systems.
  • bility to thoroughly and accurately document user requirements, system specifications, and test protocols is critical.
These skills are normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor degree in computer science, CIS (business), IT, or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in life cycle support and validation of a wide variety of applications.
