Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team

The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include:

  • Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
  • Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
  • May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
  • Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.

Required Experience

  • Pay: $38.00 - $50.00/hour, depending on years of experience
  • 4/ 10-hour shifts, with Tuesday and Thursday availability
