Follow all safety guidelines and participate as fully-empowered team member. Report unsafe activities or machine conditions to the supervisor. Assist supervisor with providing PPE. Must perform all jobs in the department and function and may serve as the subject matter expert for the department. Maintain flow of work and ensures adequate materials are stocked to keep associates working. Maintain work flow by ensuring repairs / rework process is timely. Work with supervisor to develop solutions to resolve any department issues. Maintain and clean assigned work area and ensure area is cleared of rework and scrap materials and is kept orderly and clear of unnecessary items. May provide training to new associates as needed. Work on special projects as assigned by supervisor. Other duties as assigned by production supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: None WHAT YOU'LL NEED (QUALIFICATIONS): High School diploma or equivalent 2 Years of Manufacturing experience desired To perform this job successfully, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures manual, and to comprehend basic instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, co-workers, and other personnel Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and fractions) Be able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance - must be reliable and punctual. Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
