Summary:

Repairs and maintains machinery, building, and equipment by performing the required tasks.

Duties:

  1. Performs various aspects of maintenance to include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  2. Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots and repairs equipment to assure satisfactory operation with minimum downtime.
  3. Follow prescribed procedures and policies.
  4. Records service performed in the appropriate format.
  5. Works from mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
  6. Observe all health and safety requirements and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  7. Train other personnel in pertinent topics as assigned.
  8. Perform reasonably related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED ; vocational training preferred; three to five years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.

Skills:

Must be able to use a multimeter to assist with troubleshooting. PLC experience preferred. Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to apply understanding and judgement to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to get along with co-workers and work in team environment.
