Position Purpose:

TheDialysis RN develops implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Reviews all patients receiving dialysis therapy and assesses clinical status throughout treatment. Consistently assists team members in the delivery of acute hemodialysis utilizing the established standards of care. Areas of practice are diverse, including, but not limited to, the fields of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Licensure from the Texas State Board of Nursing or Compact Licensure (required)
  • AHA BLS within 30 days of hire (required)
  • AHA ACLS within 6 months of hire (required)
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (required)
  • Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) (preferred)
