Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Verification/Test Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, particularly in the medical device domain. This role will involve designing and implementing automated test suites, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring compliance with medical device quality systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Testing:
    • Design and implement automated test suites using Tosca (preferred), focusing on system, integration, and regression testing.
    • Leverage test automation frameworks to standardize testing across various products and technologies.
    • Utilize tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG for automation.
    • API Testing and cross-browser testing (e.g., Selenium WebDriver).
    • Performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Manual Testing:
    • Perform manual functional testing across various platforms and environments.
    • Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues across platforms.
  • Collaboration & Requirements:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into actionable test cases.
    • Collaborate in an Agile development environment to perform software verification activities, including system, integration, and API testing.
  • Quality and Compliance:
    • Prepare and release technical documents in alignment with the controlled medical device quality system.
    • Ensure adherence to traceability matrix for requirements and test cases.
    • Support the creation and tracking of Software Verification Plans, Protocols, and Schedules.
    • Maintain defect management systems and provide timely updates on test status.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Software Testing:
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software verification and testing, including both manual and automated testing.
    • Experience with Tosca (preferred) or other automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
    • Strong knowledge of test frameworks and automation mechanisms (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Tosca Commander, Selenium WebDriver).
  • Medical Device Testing:
    • Experience in software verification for medical device systems, including manual functional testing, load testing, API integration testing, and non-product software validation.
    • Familiarity with medical device compliance standards and quality systems
    • Experience with medical device simulators and custom software testing is a plus.
  • Testing Methodologies:
    • Proficiency in Model-based testing and risk-based testing methodologies.
    • Experience with scripless test case creation in Tosca.
    • Understanding of traceability matrix and defect management systems.
  • Tool Integration:
    • Proficiency in using tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Tosca Mobile Engine, and Tosca Wizard.
    • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter.
Additional Skills:
  • Strong document writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Ability to decompose software requirements into detailed test cases and methods.
  • Exposure to Agile software development and iterative testing processes.
