Job Title: Packaging Associate Status: Non-Exempt, Part Time Role Summary: A packaging associate is responsible for wrapping material and packing it for sale. This serves to protect and clean products, making them marketable. Essential Functions: Packaging Ensure that products are packaged in full compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, as well as company SOPs.Inspect all products and packaging, ensuring that both are free of any defect.Correctly label and pack products with compliance information stickers.Ensure accuracy of all compliance labels.Ensure that all METRC data are up to date in Dutchie, with an assigned METRC tag for packaged products.Report any issues that may impact customer satisfaction to management immediately.Clean and sanitize workspace and equipment daily.Store and organize all packages in the vault.In the event of the office managers absence, be able to Create, edit & complete (or reopen) a Dutchie invoice (customer, product, pricing, credits, notes, etc.)Create & edit a METRC manifest to pair with the created invoicePull the product from the vault to the front office for showing or purchasing purposes.Receive and count moneyLog transactions into corresponding digital business sheetsComplete samples and paperwork for testing Additional Duties as Required Other tasks as needed and assigned by upper management.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, completing required record keeping as directed by QA, performing in process QA checks and notifying QA of all deviations, following all procedures and SOPs, maintaining a sanitary environment, ensuring training is complete and up to date, completing documentation according to good documentation practices.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of all employees for this job. Qualifications Must obtain OMMA License for approval to work in the cannabis industry per all local and state requirements, prior to starting employment.Must be able to pass a background check.Prior experience in the Cannabis industry is preferred but not required.Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Must be a punctual, reliable and dependable individual.Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.Prior experience working in an office environment is preferred but not required. Schedule: Part Time - 3-4 days a week, 4-8 hour shifts (Most weekdays, may include some weekends as needed)
