Career Level - Senior Automation Engineer :BE or BTech., or ME or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 3 to 8 years of software engineering or related experience.Must qualifications for this position are: 5+ years of software development experiences, especially in highly scalable, available and fault tolerant distributed systems Strong algorithmic skills Effective communication skills (written and spoken) and strong problem resolution skills Very good object-oriented programming skills, preferably Java Experience with technologies like Spring, RESTful web services, micro service architecture Experience with JUnit, build & devops tools Ability to work in a fast paced Agile development and rapid deployment in the Cloud/SaaS environment Strong inclination towards test driven development Effective in working with remote teams spread across time zones (USA, India, Mexico) Good understanding on RDBMS concepts Desirable qualifications for this position are (one or more): MySQL knowledge Knowledge of Maven, Chef, Oracle DB, Jmockit, Authorization concepts, GIT, Grafana, YAML OCI certification is a plus Experiences in scripting languages is a plus Experiences with cloud platforms (. Oracle Cloud Databases: Oracle Databases running on the following Co-managed Oracle Database Cloud solutions: Bare Metal and Virtual Machine DB Systems are single-node database systems on either bare metal or virtual machines, and 2-node Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database systems on virtual machines. Exadata Cloud Service is an Oracle Database cloud platform, which enables you to run Oracle Database workloads in the cloud and leverage the power of Exadata in the cloud. Autonomous Databases: Easy-to-use, fully managed, pre-configured database environments, provisioned on a Shared or Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure. What You’ll Do:Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesDesign, develop and execute automation scripts using open source toolsAs a member of functional testing team, the primary responsibilities would be to Understand the product requirements and work with development team and product managers to validate the requirements, Creating high quality test plans, test cases and ensuing complete automation and enable them on CI pipeline.
