Required Skills:

Software Engineer, SW Specialist - Graphics Responsibilities:

  1. Design core, backend software components, and code using primarily C/C++, Java, and PHP.

  2. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.

  3. Conduct design and code reviews, and analyze and improve efficiently, scalability and stability of various system resources.

  4. Use experience to build large-scale server applications.

  5. Develop and debug in C/C++ or Java/C#.

  6. Use knowledge of Perl, PHP or Python and background working with software operating system internals, file systems, programming language design, and compilers to complete software engineering projects they are assigned to.

  7. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field, and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. OR Employer will accept 5 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Requires 3 years of experience in the following:

    1. Coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, or C#
    1. Building large-scale infrastructure applications
    1. Experience with either DirectX/Vulkan/OpenGL/Metal
    1. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
    1. Working knowledge of linear algebra for graphics
    1. Building high-performance graphics system
    1. Profiling and optimizing performance and memory usage of complex systems.

Public Compensation:

$245,588/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
