Overview of Position
Role Summary The Facilities Validation Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing project schedules to the set objectives. Supports daily activities in equipment installations, product developments, validation activities, and change management. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & have the ability to meet company objectives within the timelines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
• Guide team members to client strategic schedule aligned to project objectives.
• Support development and approval of technical documents required.
• Maintain timelines and communicate roadblocks with solution based tasks.
• Support the factory area assigned and maintain team member cohesiveness.
• Develop progress reports on activities assigned with an agreed upon frequency.
• Understanding of the operations and validation of facilities as well as utilities.
• Can decipher blueprints for electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical applications.
• Can develop factory layout designs
• Ability to provide technical directions to engineers and contractors during site construction
• Understands line balancing and simulation analysis.
• Ability to develop capital expenditures where applicable
• Has knowledge of HVAC system construction
• Capability to plan and develop plant shut down and start up protocols.
• Collect and download Environmental data from data loggers.
• Format downloaded data and generate graphs for presentations with the customer.
• Working/collaborate with the quality/operation team for NCMR, CAPA, and Deviations.
• Compress clean dry air (CDA) sampling collection
• Write/develop the facilities & utilities SOPs, work instruction.

Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Facilities Engineering Capacity.
• Experience with HVAC Systems.
• Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives.
• Is a self-starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.

Desired Characteristics • Strong oral and written communication skills
• Capability to work in teams
• PMP certified .
• AutoCAD, CREO, or Pro-E proficiency.
• B.S Degree in Industrial, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
