Family/Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in New York, NY

Responsibilities
- Provide Comprehensive Primary Care:
- Offer a full scope of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.
- Patient Evaluation:
- Review patient histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.
- Diagnostic Skills:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver appropriate treatment and patient care. Make referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Clinical Expertise:
- Demonstrate quality clinical diagnostic skills, interpreting test results, and recommending suitable management, including preventive health recommendations.
- Medication Management:
- Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
- Relationship-Centered Care:
- Provide patient-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs.
- Record Keeping:
- Collect and maintain accurate patient information, medical histories, reports, and examination results.
- Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
- Educational Background:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent.
- Residency Training:
- Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Experience:
- Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.
- Board Certification:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Licensing:
- Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license.
- DEA Registration:
- Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
- Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment:
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
- Life Support Certification:
- BLS or ACLS required.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
