Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is currently hiring a flexi/PRN Radiation Therapist to be located at the Hahn Cancer Center.

Job Description:

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
  
• Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files.
  

Hours:

• Flexi/PRN Day shift
  

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associate's Level Degree in Radiologic Technology
  
• License/Certification: New graduates will be required to obtain ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T) within 6 months of hire.
  
• Preferred: Experience with V Mat, 3D & Sterotactic Procedures. Experience with using ARIA, Varian Trilogy, Varian Tru Ream & Linear Accelerators.

Job Summary

Qualifications:

ALD - Associate's Level Degree: Radiologic Technology (Required)

ARRT Radiation Therapy(T) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
