Maintenance Engineer

Reference #: 84339-en_US Your Contribution Coordinate with operations, purchasing, materials management, and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless communication and execution of maintenance tasks, detail and prepare estimates for requested maintenance work, including labor and materials needed, liaise with engineers and other stakeholders (Production, MRP) for upcoming maintenance, including component and equipment ordering, and support the implementation of maintenance best practices, creating standard work for routine activities. Maintain and update equipment and preventative maintenance plans in SAP Plant Maintenance, document and manage job plans, preventative maintenance tasks, and master equipment files within SAP. Manage work orders using SAP PM, performing Planner workflow functions, including establishing functional locations and work centers for new equipment, prioritize work based on safety and business needs, verifying the availability of parts, materials, and special tools before scheduling. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities. Manage spare parts inventory, determining critical material levels and ensuring timely availability of components to minimize downtime and prepare storeroom purchase requisitions and allocate materials to work orders. Develop and maintain relevant KPIs for the maintenance team, such as Planned Maintenance Percentage (PMP), MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability to drive continuous improvement. Assist in mechanical troubleshooting for systems, machines, and equipment malfunctions, conduct root cause analysis, solve problems systematically, and create corrective action plans. Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and internal policies, support company-wide programs and initiatives like 5S and TPM, develop training plans for maintenance personnel and coordinate technical training Other duties as assigned and backup to maintenance supervisor. Your Profile Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 3- 5 years of related occupational experience in a manufacturing environment SAP EAM (PM), TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Green Belt, Structured Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring technologies, strong proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or other Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems for managing work orders, equipment, and inventory. Proficiency in using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present maintenance performance metrics and trends. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance job plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
