Job Summary

Responsible for the resource development of applicants, full-cycle recruitment of qualified individuals, and development of recruitment strategies in support of the organization's staffing goals. Pursues, develops, and maintains professional relationships with appropriate medical organizations, search and sourcing services, and community resources in support of physician recruitment objectives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Continually communicates and coordinates with the Physician Recruitment leadership to partner with hiring departments, on-boarding, retention, and health system leadership to ensure a collaborative effort for the recruitment and retention of candidates.
  • Performs clinic site visits and maintains communication with practice leadership to collect data for recruitment needs and to create and maintain accuracy of practice profile.
  • Participates in the creation and execution of sourcing strategies to attract qualified applicants in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Actively sources qualified candidates through activities including targeted events, job fairs, conferences, cold calling, and other innovative ideas to generate leads and make connections.
  • Utilizes training program websites to connect and partner with program faculty, coordinators, residents, and fellows as well as engaging local students and maintaining contact throughout training.
  • Works with marketing to maintain accurate and active job postings and to create engaging content on the company physician recruitment website pages and other recruitment materials.
  • Collaborates with outside recruitment firms, as needed.
  • Maintains applicant tracking systems (ATS) and reporting functions and updates leadership as needed.
  • Ensures timely and accurate data entry of a variety of information utilizing pertinent software.
  • Screens potential candidates by conducting initial interviews, checking background/references, testing, and other approved measures; presents candidates to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates telephone interviews between candidates and leadership; attend and take notes as needed.
  • Confirms and coordinates the interview process with department leadership and administration.
  • Responsible for candidate site visits including facilitating and scheduling interviews, meetings, tours, dinners, and other events, as needed.
  • Attends all candidate meetings, provides or facilitates transportation, and is the community resource for the candidate throughout the recruitment process ensuring timely communication with candidate and administration in preparation for next steps.
  • Oversees all onboarding related functions; responsible for coordination of weekly onboarding meeting and related documentation; collaborates with multiple departments to ensure all providers are ready for first day of employment.
  • Cultivates relationships with community vendors such as hotels, rental cars, restaurants/caterers, locate business owners, etc. to streamline accommodations for prospective candidates.
  • Responsible for accounting functions including residency stipend payments, candidate reimbursements, expense report, and approval of recruitment-related invoices/activities.
  • Demonstrates current knowledge of and compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of immigration regulations and policies; works with legal teams to ensure accuracy and timely filing; maintains accuracy and compliance of immigration records and expenses.
  • Provides market data and trends to leadership to assist in determining competitive compensation packages.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel; occasionally overnight and/or after hours.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required upon hire OR
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
  • No licensure/certification/registration required
