The essence of the role of licensed massage therapists at Rasa is to deliver excellent, customized, professional, and caring work to every client. We are currently hiring both full time and part time massage therapists. Weekends and/or evenings are a mustRequirementsCurrent New York State license and registrationAdeptness and confidence in assessment of musculoskeletal dysfunctionAbility to offer deep tissue massageInspired to learn additional Rasa Spa brand body treatments and servicesConfidence in development of treatment plans for addressing identified issuesEasy rapport in communications with clients during intake, within the session, and during outtakeExquisite customer service and deep commitment to ensuring each client’s expectations are met or exceededPassion for bodywork and wellness, and motivation to continually evolve and educate yourselfExcitement about educating co-workers and the community about aspects of health and wellnessPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literateAbility to maintain professional appearanceAbility to maintain sanitary, clean and tidy work station at all timesComfort in post-session self-care boutique item recommendationsFlexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPreferencesExperience working in the massage/wellness field for a minimum of one year (or equivalent educational experience beyond licensure requirementsSpecial RequirementsAbility to lift 25 poundsBenefitsHealth insurance available for full-time employeesStaff discounts and perks available to all employeesDental, Vision, and more available to all employeesCommission awarded for retail salesMore about usRasa opened our doors at our flagship location in 2006 and has been providing care in the Ithaca community for nearly 17 years.
