Summary:

Under the direction of the Panels Supervisor, the Panel assembler will work with various functions throughout the business to assemble panels. This will prepping, wiring, and final assembly.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, use and understand electrical/ mechanical schematic drawings.
  • Responsible for producing high quality electrical products.
  • Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes, panels, or performs a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies.
  • Assembles, in predetermined order, electrical components, terminals and push buttons.
  • Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.
  • Closing job orders daily for assigned value stream
Minimum required qualifications:
  • Two years minimum manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to perform basic math including use of calculators.
The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:
  • Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
  • Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation and devices and point-to-point testing.
  • Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings and documentation.
