Operating Room Nurse

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients
  • Assume relief charge duties as designated
  • Work collaboratively to develop individualized care plans incorporating age specific considerations
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights; document and communicate clinical findings
  • Enhance professional growth by participating in educational programs, reading current literature, and attending in-services, meetings and workshops
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of nationally accredited nursing program
  • Registered Nurse in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • Heavy lifting required
