Mission Autism Clinics (MAC) is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians (BTs). As a BT, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personalized support to autistic children, helping them thrive while starting your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Why Choose MAC?

At MAC, we believe in investing in our team members' success. When you join us, you'll receive comprehensive training to kick-start your career as a Behavior Technician. MAC is committed to your professional growth, offering ongoing opportunities for development, mentorship, and training. With MAC, you'll have the tools and support you need to excel in your role and advance in your career, including a paid training and Registered Behavior Technician certification

What You'll Do:

Empower Through 1:1 Support: Provide individualized support in a 1:1 teaching format to autistic children. Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll implement behavior analytical techniques to enhance communication, self-help skills, and social interactions.

Promote Positive Change: Utilize positive reinforcement strategies and antecedent modifications to foster the development of appropriate behaviors over time. Your dedication will contribute to meaningful progress and growth in each child's journey.

Create Engaging Learning Environments: Assist in the creation and maintenance of instructional materials, ensuring that each child's learning experience is tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

Track Progress: Keep accurate records of client performance and progress through meticulous data collection and clinical notes. Your attention to detail will guide our team in making informed decisions to support each child's development.

Provide Compassionate Care: Manage challenging behaviors with care and professionalism, following Behavior Care Plans and directives from BCBAs to help create a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

What We're Looking For:

Passion for Making a Difference: Experience or a strong interest in working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is essential.

Whether you're just starting your career or seeking to expand your skill set, we'll provide the support and resources you need to succeed. Ask about our Mac Scholars program to learn more about an ABA scholarship and paid BCBA training

Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is key to building collaborative relationships with BCBAs, parents, and care teams.

Reliability and Adaptability: You should have reliable transportation to commute to our clinic and be willing to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (hours fluctuate week to week depending on client attendance)

Pay: $18-19/hour
