Immediate Hiring Critical Care Air Transport Nurse Career Opportunity
We're seeking a Critical Care Air Transport Nurse to join our team of air transportation professionals in safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as responding to emergency calls. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action for supporting, monitoring, and treating patients in critical care situations.
- Manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients and support physicians' orders using critical thinking skills.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment and base checks, and adhere to safety standards and briefings.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, and other partners.
- Ensure accurate company and regulatory documentation and records are maintained, and share shift change information with the transitioning team.
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to high standards of punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status.
- Trauma Certification where required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.
