As a part-time physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in the recovery journey of our patients at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fredericksburg. You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with patients, utilizing the latest technologies and approaches to help them regain independence and achieve their personal goals.

Position Overview:

Your role includes:

  • Delivering individualized physical therapy treatments in line with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Supervising and mentoring physical therapist assistants and technicians.
  • Communicating effectively with hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs.
  • Creating a safe and patient-centered treatment environment that aligns with our mission.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess current state licensure or certification on or before your start date.
  • CPR certification preferred unless otherwise specified by hospital policy.
  • Completion of a degree from an accredited physical therapy program, along with relevant experience.
  • Proven skills in patient evaluation, care planning, and treatment implementation.
  • Strong communication abilities for effectively interacting with patients, families, and caregivers.
