This position is responsible for performing various shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.

What you'll do:

Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments.
Identify and prepare parts for return to the customer or disposal.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping errors and delays.
Process applicable documentation, including database updates, sample disposal records, invoices, etc.
Pull parts from inventory, as requested, for projects/testing.
Maintain parts and supplies inventory, as well as audit and inspection records.
Maintain safety and maintenance schedules and records for shop tools and equipment.
Design, build & package crates to return to the customer as needed.
May transport vehicle and/or part pickups to and from various locations.
Perform other duties as required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
1+ year directly related experience preferred.
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Ability to design, build and customize package crates, using basic hand tools and equipment.
Must be organized and able to prioritize and complete tasks in an efficient manner.
Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
Ability to lift and carry samples, parts and equipment up to 49 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push and pull as needs to perform the essential job duties.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record for transport of items between facilities.
