RESPONSIBLE FOR:
CT Techs specialize in using ionizing radiationto produce cross-sectional images. CT Technologists performdiagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance withall prescribed standards under the direct guidance of thesupervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care toall age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, andgeriatrics
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved RadiologicTechnology program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
A minimum of one (1) year experienceas a Radiological Technologist
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
Registered by the American Registry ofRadiologic Technology (R).
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification by ARRTin CT preferred.
BLS certification required. Six (6)months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
