You will receive comprehensive training that will prepare you for a fulfilling role in helping others improve their physical well-being.
The Physical Therapy Specialist, under the guidance of a physical therapist, administers treatment to reduce physical disabilities and promotes patient fitness. The Occupational Therapy Specialist, mentored by a registered military occupational therapist, assists patients in recovery to facilitate their independence and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and administer physical therapy treatments
- Encourage and promote overall physical fitness
- Educate others on the prevention of injuries
- Prepare and maintain treatment reports
- Conduct interviews and assist patients with daily living activities
Basic Requirements:
- Aged between 17 and 34
- Currently enrolled senior in high school, high school diploma, GED, or higher
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willingness to undergo a background check and medical screening
- Passing score on the ASVAB is required
Benefits:

- Flexible contract lengths ranging from 2 to 6 years
The opportunity to serve as a Physical and Occupational Therapy Specialist is located within the Army Reserves. Eligible candidates must meet the enlistment requirements of the United States Army, including:
- Age requirement
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Successful completion of a medical examination with drug screening
- Achieving qualifying scores on the ASVAB
