PRN CT Technologist

We are seeking a PRN Computed Tomography Technologist to join our Outpatient Imaging Center at Bayshore. This position offers varied weekday shifts and access to benefits, such as medical coverage, retirement matching, and more.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required; current license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required; Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)) in computed tomography
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience, preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs CT scans on patients, including preparing patients, explaining procedures, administering contrast, and ensuring technical quality of scans
  • Enters and monitors patient data
  • Performs quality assurance on CT equipment and may assist with accreditation applications
  • Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all policies and standards
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development and supports department-based goals
