Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: AFC Urgent CAre
Job Type: Part Time, Per Diem, On-call

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. This is a part time, Per Diem or On-call position requiring the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. DOT certified prefer, IV placement proficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide patient education and counsel on lifestyle modifications, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Provide care across the lifespan, including [insert specific patient population, e.g., pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, etc.].
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • DOT Certified
  • Workers Comp Knowledgeable

Shift Requirements:
  • Must be available to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend shifts are required.
  • Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nursing with a Nurse Practitioner program completion.
  • Current, valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state].
  • Current Certifications
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Prior experience in [specific clinical area or setting] preferred.
