Principal duties of the successful candidate will include participating in safety and housekeeping efforts, helping with process and product development, leading quality improvement efforts, leading team member training efforts, utilizing statistical process control tools to direct continuous improvement activities, working closely with operation and maintenance teams to ensure continuous improvements, working closely with customers on product development. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from an accredited university. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of metallurgical experience with steel-related processes, including melting, casting, and/or hot rolling Strong communication skills Advanced problem-solving ability Demonstrated ability to initiate programs Proven ability to utilize analytical/statistical tools Applications must be received by July 29, 2024.
