We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operational Director to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and is passionate about creating scalable systems and processes that will enable the company to continue its expansion.
Position Overview:
The Operational Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Parts and Service departments, optimizing business processes, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement across all functions. This role will work closely with senior leadership to implement business strategies, improve performance, and maintain operational integrity. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with extensive experience in operations management, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and vision.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize business processes, systems, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor operational managers, ensuring high performance, professional development, and clear communication across teams.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to align operational efforts with business objectives and improve overall performance.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track financial performance, and work with the finance team to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices, ensuring the organization remains agile and responsive to market changes.
- Risk Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), implement risk management processes, and resolve operational challenges in a proactive manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates to the Owner(s) and leadership team on operational performance, key metrics, and progress toward strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, preferred but not required.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of business operations, project management, process optimization, and financial oversight.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and outcomes.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
