Job Title: Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Location: Remote (with optional in-office work)
Partner: GPAC
Firm: Well-established Regional Law Firm

Position Overview:

GPAC is partnering with a well-regarded regional law firm to find a skilled Associate Attorney to join their Civil Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. The position is primarily remote, but the firm offers flexibility for attorneys who prefer an in-office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Support: Assist in all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-trial motions to resolution, including case preparation and discovery.
  • Case Management: Manage cases through various stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other necessary documents.
  • Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and draft persuasive legal memoranda and briefs.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their legal issues and provide updates on case developments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases, contributing to trial preparation and legal strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of civil litigation experience, including experience in drafting legal documents, discovery, and managing cases.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.
  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Skills: Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Personal Traits: Positive, enthusiastic, and a team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic.
  • Trial Experience: While trial experience is not required, it is considered a plus.
