Looking for a GIS Analysts for a 6 month contract at a VERY well know media company in Anaheim, California.

They will

  • support:

  • immediate response efforts with reactionary projects.

  • the development and authoring of requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop workload estimates with critical path schedule dates to support our project management team

  • act as the GIS specialist to administer the GIS

  • creating and maintaining data, applications, and tools for internal use by a variety of stakeholders.

  • manage the sustainment of data related to underground utilities, waterways, equipment, and other assests.

  • Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain mobile and web-based GIS resources to streamline communication and make existing practices more efficient (e.g., Field Maps, Experience Builder, Sites, Dashboards, etc.).

  • Maintain:

  • GIS infrastructure including software upgrades, client software installation and configuration, map production, spatial analyses, and data updates.

  • knowledge and expertise in the use of Esri GIS products.

  • Train and assist non-technical staff in the use of GIS software and customizations.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

  • using enterprise databases and ArcGIS Enterprise

  • with at least one relational database management system and writing SQL queries and Python scripts

  • with underground utility systems (Esri Utility Networks)

  • understanding of GIS fundamentals and concepts

  • asset data management and editing.

  • Proficient in the use of Esri's suite of mobile, desktop, web, and server-based ArcGIS products

  • ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps.

responsibilities:

Looking for a GIS Analyst tosupport the development and sustainment of projects we support throughout the Disneyland Resort. Our department supports a wide range of project types including Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise, and Entertainment. Projects range from minor renovations to new facilities.

You will

  • support:

  • immediate response efforts with reactionary projects.

  • the development and authoring of requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop workload estimates with critical path schedule dates to support our project management team

  • act as the GIS specialist to administer the GIS

  • creating and maintaining data, applications, and tools for internal use by a variety of stakeholders.

  • manage the sustainment of data related to underground utilities, waterways, equipment, and other assests.

  • participate in the development of the GIS for underground utilities and other assets by reviewing inaccuracies, researching Record Documents, and editing features in the Enterprise Portal.

  • Perform field work to investigate and validate infrastructure location and condition

  • Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain mobile and web-based GIS resources to streamline communication and make existing practices more efficient (e.g., Field Maps, Experience Builder, Sites, Dashboards, etc.).

  • Maintain:

  • GIS infrastructure including software upgrades, client software installation and configuration, map production, spatial analyses, and data updates.

  • knowledge and expertise in the use of Esri GIS products.

  • Train and assist non-technical staff in the use of GIS software and customizations.

  • Develop scopes of work and RFPs (Request for Proposals) for outside consulting resources.

  • Provide guidance and concise decision matrices to support executive decisions.

  • Partner with internal teams to develop, maintain, communicate, and enforce design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

  • using enterprise databases and ArcGIS Enterprise

  • with at least one relational database management system and writing SQL queries and Python scripts

  • with underground utility systems (Esri Utility Networks)

  • Solid understanding of GIS fundamentals and concepts, including asset data management and editing.

  • Proficient in the use of Esri's suite of mobile, desktop, web, and server-based ArcGIS products

  • ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as record engineering drawings to independently solve problems and perform analyses.

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with clients, consultants, contractors, Resort stakeholders, and management.

  • Self-starting collaborator to provide experience to bring concepts into
