The Packaging Operator Level I will be expected to operate and maintain performance of various packaging equipment while meeting company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Demonstrates proficiency in assembly, set up, and disassembly of line equipment

* Exhibits knowledge of equipment function and operation

* Maintains and adjust packaging equipment before, during, and after operation

* Continuously monitors equipment and quality of the product

* Complies with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines

* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred

* Able to repetitively lift 50 pounds

* Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools

* Some computer knowledge

* Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness

* Good decision making skills

* Able to use dolly

* Certified to use manual or electric pallet jack
