Medical Lab Technologist

Medical Lab Technologist Job Description The Medical Lab Technologist will determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria. They will perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions, monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. The role involves making technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving, preparing tests, and evaluating new reagents or controls. The Medical Lab Technologist will report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care, perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures, identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary, and assist with the processing of specimens when needed. Maintaining a safe work environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment is also required. Hard Skills MT/MLT/MLS 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience ASCP certified preferred (REQUIRES TN LICENSE IF NOT ASCP, AMT, OR AAD CERTIFIED) Generalist- Coag, Hem, UA, etc experience Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Work Environment 3rd shift- 8:30pm-6:30am. 4 10's Mon-Thurs.
